Alljoy Design creates wonderfully original greetings cards, stationery and gifts. Alljoy is a graphic design company established in 2009 in Dublin, Ireland, whose aim is to create products that bring joy and happiness to all who use them. All of Alljoy's designs are created in house, each full of imagination. They utilise the latest laser-cutting technology in bringing their designs to life. Jiawen and Ling (AKA Alljoy Design) with Anna and Chris - the owners of iapetus gallery.
I studied architecture in Dublin and after I graduated, I worked for an architectural company for 6 years. My wife Jiawen also studied in Dublin, and has a Masters degree in graphic design. After university, she then worked for a graphic design studio for 5 years. In 2009, we were both made redundant due to the recession in Ireland, so we decided to start our own business as we have always wanted to. It was the perfect opportunity, so Alljoy Design was established that same year.
Our inspiration comes from various things - architectural structures, silhouette art, digital and watercolour art. We tend to find whatever we love inspires us in some way. We then use this inspiration in our 3D software to create our card structures.
I think we are both very creative people and sometimes in our jobs, we have to push boundaries and not just ‘finish the job’. That ethos helped us start Alljoy Design. We really push the boundaries in this industry and always try to have new ideas and designs.

We love to go to the cinema, but most of our time is now occupied by our little girl! She is also one of our biggest inspirations.
Our favourite is our butterfly forest 3D message in a bottle card!
Designing is always very challenging!
Don't be afraid to design something different - everyone is different and that’s what design means.

Challenging, fun and time consuming!
Our design schedule is always very full. We already have so many designs in our existing ranges but we will later create a new line in our 3D pop up range! We will also branch out on a gift side soon.
