iapetus gallery is now closed

All good things must come to an end

This wasn't an easy decision for us, but after careful consideration, we know closing iapetus is the right one.
We tried to find the perfect new owner to carry on the iapetus legacy, but unfortunately the current economic climate isn't on our side. Running a shop is a demanding business and often we have had to sacrifice the time with the people we love. Life is precious and we don’t want to continue to live like that. As much as we are proud of what iapetus is and what we have achieved, we both need to find a less stressful relationship with work, and move on to more fulfilling adventures.

A BIG thanks to you, our team and the makers

This incredible journey we’ve been on wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
Our wonderful regulars have been the heart and soul of iapetus. We have cherished every visit and appreciated every purchase, and would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to you. We wouldn't be iapetus without the amazing team members who have come and gone throughout our journey. Many of them have played just as crucial a role as we have in building the warm and creative atmosphere we're known for. Over nearly two decades, iapetus has been fortunate to collaborate with a remarkable community of artists and makers. Many have become cherished friends, and we'll miss working alongside them. We encourage our customers to continue supporting their incredible talent.

It’s goodbye from us, but the memories live on!

Whilst we’re sad to say goodbye to iapetus gallery, we hope you and your loved ones will treasure the handmade goodies you’ve bought from us for many years to come. With love and appreciation, Anna and Chris xx
