These wonderfully unique drop earrings were crafted by Malvern artist Carol James as her response to the Covid-19 lockdowns. Named 'Embrace' the collection represents the all important hug we couldn't give each other in that difficult time.

The need to embrace loved ones is always important, which is why she continued to create this tactile range.

The ovals are hand forged by Carol from a single piece of silver with overlapping ends. Each embrace is a truly unique creation.

Carol sadly is no longer with us meaning the pieces we have left from the collection are the last available, making them even more special!

The loops are fixed to sterling silver posts with butterfly backs.

About Silverfish Designs

Carol James, the talented creator behind Silverfish Designs, lived and worked on the scenic Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. With a background in archaeology, her passion for prehistoric rock art deeply influenced her jewellery, which blends contemporary and organic styles. 

After beginning her journey in silversmithing in 2000, Carol's unique pieces were showcased in galleries and craft shows across the UK.

Though Carol sadly lost her battle with cancer earlier this year (2024), her legacy endures through her exquisite, meaningful designs that celebrate the beauty of nature and history.
