This fairly-traded and eco-friendly large leather photo album has been handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. The leather has been dyed with a rich turquoise colour and fastened by three leather strings in complementary colours. It's the perfect way to display and protect your treasured photographs and also makes a wonderful gift.
They are also perfect to use as a scrapbook or sketchbook, doodle book or diary.
Each leather photo album is unique - leather is a natural product and can have slight imperfections. This adds to the individuality and makes each one unique. The stylish leather photo album has 30 pages of khadda paper each interleaved with tissue paper. The album holds up to 200 6" x 4" photos.
Khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India. It is handmade and doesn’t contain any chemicals as they use only unbleached cotton. The paper is very easy to write on but does have a slight texture. We do not advise using an ink pen on this paper, ball point or gel pen will work the best.
Because the paper is acid-free it is perfect for protecting and preserving photographs. Photos can be added using photo corners, spray mount or just glue. Photograph corners can be found in any good photography shop or stationers.
