UP TO 50% OFF OUR LAST HANDMADE GOODIES
This fairly-traded and eco-friendly sari covered photo album has been handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. It's the perfect way to display and protect your treasured photographs and also makes a wonderful gift. They are also perfect to use as a wedding album, scrapbook or sketchbook, doodle book or diary.
The sari material used is off cuts from the fashion industry. It comes from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the world and a centre of excellence for sari making.
The stylish photo album has 30 pages of khadda paper each interleaved with tissue paper. The album holds up to 120 6" x 4" photos.
Khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India. It is handmade and doesn’t contain any chemicals as they use only unbleached cotton. The paper is very easy to write on but does have a slight texture. We do not advise using an ink pen on this paper, ballpoint or gel pen will work the best.
Because the paper is acid-free it is perfect for protecting and preserving photographs. Photos can be added using photo corners, spray mount or just glue. Photograph corners can be found in any good photography shop or stationers.
Please note: due to the handmade nature of these products colour and designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.
