This amazing lightbox depicts the sun setting over the beautiful Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. As the sun sets, deer and hares have come out to play in the woodland that surrounds the hills. Whether you're a regular walker on the Malverns or just love the British countryside you're certain to adore this magical piece of art.

The scene is made up of several laser-cut paper layers creating amazing depth reminiscent of Victorian paper toy theatres. A beautiful object on it's own, it comes to life when lit by the internal led light strips with warm white and violet colours. It would look incredible on a mantel piece or shelf and makes a truly unique and original gift for many occasions, be they weddings, Christenings, birthdays or just because.

The Malverns light box - exclusively at iapetus

This wonderful lightbox has been designed for iapetus by the talented folks at Alljoy. We have worked with them over several months to create a light box that truly brings the majestic Malvern Hills from our home town to life, capturing the essence of landscape.

About the lightbox

Each of these light boxes is made from several layers of cut paper, held with layers of acrylic and lit from behind using LED light strips. Each has a USB cable and plug to connect to mains power and comes safely packed in a box. The LED lights should last at least 2 years, and use very minimal electricity due to the efficiency of the lights.
