This light-weight anodised aluminium pair of earrings has a stunning pattern applied by Hazel Atkinson. Each piece of Hazel's colourful jewellery is individually painted making everyone a unique creation. It would make a marvellous gift for any lover of bright, joyful jewellery.

About Hazel Atkinson
Hazel's technique starts with anodising pure aluminium - a chemical process which creates microscopic pores able to absorb certain pigments. The metal is then hand painted with permanent inks and specialist dyes, then suspended in hot dyes for 15 minutes, and finally boiled in water for up to an hour which seals the colour permanently. Because of the nature of this process, it is impossible to exactly replicate the design, so every one of Hazel's pieces will be different to the next.
