Malvern artist Tia Lambert is returning to iapetus gallery this April with her new exhibition, MALVERN SKYLINE. This collection will feature vivid original landscapes of the Malvern Hills in oils.
If you‘re new to Tia‘s work, she is best known for her watercolours capturing the stunning Malvern Hills throughout the seasons. However, she is equally adept at oil painting, with the strong, bold colours working brilliantly to bring the hills we all know and love to life.
Tia has lived at the foot of the Malverns since moving from London in 1985 and has been painting the hills ever since. Her work celebrates the ever-changing colours, light and moods of our beautiful landscape.
To see Tia's fantastic new work before anyone else, pop down to our gallery in Great Malvern and see the fantastic paintings in person!
Since moving to Malvern from London, Tia has developed a strong attachment to the Malvern Hills and the surrounding landscapes and this affection shines through her paintings. Armed with watercolours, brushes, easel and paper Tia works outdoors, directly from the landscapes around her. The unpredictability of watercolour and the ever-changing weather means that nervous energy and fast brushwork combines to create fresh, spontaneous and flowing images that bring the landscape of the Malverns to life.
