This tactile silver spiral pendant is by Malvern artist, Carol James. As well as being a fantastically creative jeweller Carol is also a specialist in ancient British rock art and much of her jewellery, including this range, is inspired by many hours spent investigating burial chambers and caves, particularly in Anglesey. This particular range is inspired by a day spent tracing spiral shapes in caves in Barclodiad y Gawres. The design is loosely based on the multitude of spiral shapes created by our ancestors.
The pendant is hung from a silver snake chain. It would make a wonderful gift for a loved one who adores simple yet unusual jewellery.
