This Sari journal is fairly traded, recycled and eco-friendly. Beautiful and unique, it has been handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, Western India using excess Sari material from the garment industry. The handmade paper is easy to write on and very smooth. It is made from unbleached, recycled cotton left over from the massive garment industry. The paper is made in a small workshop by a charity that is committed to social responsibility through education, especially directed towards women in rural villages.
