hand painted and embroidered fabric brooch - blue tit by vikki lafford garside

This blue tit brooch is a perfect gift for a bird lover. The beautiful blue tit is a characterful and popular bird to visit gardens in the United Kingdom and its vibrant colour and cute character is captured in this embroidered blue tit brooch.

This brooch is created from many layers of fabrics that are embroidered and painted to create a three-dimensional effect. The reverse is backed with soft felt and the edges are sealed so that the fabric does not fray. The brooch is lightweight, soft, flexible and robust so very easy to wear on any garment. The brooch comes presented in a gift box.

Essential info: Made from faux suede and cotton organdie, embroidered and hand-painted. Due to the hand-crafted nature of the brooch, some very slight variations may occur. It is quite flexible and robust and some bending is natural during wear. It can easily be reshaped by flattening by hand. To keep the brooch in good condition, avoid submerging in water and subjecting to high temperatures or prolonged periods of direct sunlight.

Materials: fabric

Size: W: 7cm, H: 3.5cm
