bad hare day necklace by nick hubbard

This wonderful necklace features a sorrowful hare sitting on a tall chair, with a little gold heart below. It has been framed in a silver circle, with the words Bad Hare Day engraved on the rim of the frame. This piece is based on work Nick was finishing before untimely death in 2013. The hare on a chair was found on his work bench, and has lovingly transformed into this marvellous necklace by the Brock and Bean team. It is a wonderful example of Nick's humour and would be a fabulous addition to any devoted fans collection.

About Nick Hubbard

This piece has been created by the Brick and Bean team in their studio in Staffordshire. The piece, an original design by the late, great Nick Hubbard has been created with care and attention to detail by Nick's apprentices. Nick Hubbard was one of Britain's most original, creative and quirky jewellers. His jewellery is amazing in its detail and intricacy; a figurative collection of oxidized silver pieces and charms bearing heartfelt and inspiring words and messages. Many lockets, brooches and rings have moving parts and small doors that open to reveal fine gold detail. Nick's work is highly collectable and once you've one piece you're sure to want many more!
